I’m not sure how I missed this in the past, but I won’t miss it ever again.
The folks that own the Monadnock Berries Farm in Troy, NH have been doing an annual Mini Cooper BBQ and berry picking day for ten years now. They put on a wonderful event for the local MINI enthusiasts (both the owner and her daughter have MINIs) and it was an absolute perfect day to be out there. It was sunny and warm, the blueberries were abundant and tasty (as was the barbeque), the view of Mt. Monadnock was beautiful, there was a live Blues band playing on the porch, and MINIs of all flavors were parked on the lawn behind the farm house. The turnout was great – I don’t know how many people there were, but there must have been at least 25 MINI’s and two Classics. As with pretty much every MINI event we’ve been to, we got to catch up with old friends as well as making some new friends. It was pretty much a perfect MINI day.
