I'm getting closer. I got the Mini titled without any problems – given my experiences with the state Registry of Motor Vehicles, I thought it would be a complete nightmare. The Mini didn't have a title (purchased from Connecticut, where they don't care about titling cars older than 1981), so I figured they would give me a big hard time, but I lucked out – I was at the counter for ten minutes – no fuss, no muss! So now I just need to replace a rear view mirror and I can get inspected. I'm praying for at least another week or so of good weather so I can put some miles on it before it snows and they ruin the roads with salt and sand…

Tomorrow’s the day!
The Mini now has its own web page. The excitement is really building now. Can ya feel it??
Mini Update
It looks like the Mini will here on Sunday. The owner is going to bring it up in his enclosed trailer – a very generous offer that I could not refuse!
I’m getting a Mini!
Okay, call me completely insane, but I’m buying this Mini:

I’ve been getting kind of tired of the Sprite for some time now, and periodically I would dream of doing a Triumph or a Mini, but I never really thought about it seriously. Well, I just happened to be reading a posting on the Sprite and Midget mailing list I’m on and a guy in Connecticut mentioned that he was looking to selling his panel van. I always thought it would be neat to do a panel or a Mini pickup, so I figured what the heck? Can’t hurt to go and look at it, now can it? Well, by now you can probably piece together the rest of the story – I fell in love with it and soon it will be mine! We just need to work out pick up or delivery. I am so psyched! I’ve already sent in my membership application to the New England Mini Owner’s Club! Stay tuned – there will be more information as things start to happen!
