This was a first.  We’ve seen quite an array of critters around the property, but we’ve never seen a fox.

I was sitting at my computer and happened to see something moving outside the office window.  He came into the yard, went around the back of the house, and then came over to the bird feeders where he surprised the hell out of a couple of gray squirrels.  I have NEVER seen squirrels move so fast!  Then he sniffed around the pony barn for a few minutes before taking off down the driveway.  I spent a couple of minutes observing him before I went to get the camera, so I only got a few shots – I assumed he wouldn’t stick around long enough for me to take any pictures – luckily I was wrong.
